Hi, I'm Jerry. For me, photography has been my passion since the 1970's., when I began taking photographs in the footsteps of my father. My father always had a camera in hand, documenting our lives.

My first serious camera was a manual 35mm SLR and 50mm lens. The film was black and white. As a teen, I learned theory while honing my composition and lighting skills. In college, I continued my studies with photojournalism courses.

Today, I capture bytes of time with digital SLRs, professional lenses and high-tech lighting. I shoot mostly Bar/Bat Mitzvahs and portraits. However, I still also photograph many family events, sports and more. I'm also a member of the Professional Photographers of America and continue my learning everyday.  It is this heritage of capturing, preserving and sharing that Byte Out of Time, which provides my drive.
